      The Soup Kitchen serves the poor who suffer from the lack of basic  human needs: material needs, such as food, clothing, and household necessities;  psychological needs, such as motivation, self-esteem, and rehabilitation; and  social needs, such as support systems and meaningful relationships.

Caritas  of Austin
      hot meals in the  Community Kitchen, take-home groceries from the food pantry and resettlement  support services for documented political and religious refugees.

Foundation  for the Homeless
      Serves a hot breakfast every Tuesday and  Thursday from 6:00-6:45. Services provided include showers, haircuts, Cap Metro  ride tickets, clothing, eyeglass referrals and hygiene products.

      Mobile Loaves and Fishes 
      Mobile Loaves and Fishes provide food, clothing, and dignity to our brothers  and sisters in need.   We accomplish this  mission through the use of 12 catering trucks that go out onto the city streets  of Austin, San Antonio,  New Orleans, Providence,  and Nashville  every night of the week, thanks to the hard work of our almost 10,000  volunteers and a single supply truck.       Provides food, clothing, and  everyday supplies, normally taken for granted, to our friends in need. Every  Saturday Shoulder the Cross attempts to meet these needs at Wooldridge Square   Park, 9th and Guadalupe
